Benefits of LetsMix Downloading Software and Production Tips

Producers, both amateur and professional, are looking for information about how to make Dubstep music in order to capitalize on this growing genre.

If you don’t have a studio setup, download DUBturbo. You can download this software from our website. It is listed at the end of this article.

You may already have some experience in sequencing Dubstep music on a digital platform. However, we must not forget that there are still elements that are important to consider in order to get to the next level.

We have seen that Dubstep is more than just putting instruments on a beat. There are many things you can do to make your track unique and memorable. Let’s get on with the tips, without further delay.

1. Reverb and effects

Reverb is always a nice thing, but not when it’s used with your samples. If you don’t want samples to be added to your mix, turn off the reverb. This is not a set rule, but I will explain why it is better to disable the reverb. Most likely, you will want to add some reverb to the end of your production. If you have a sample with reverb already on it, you can create a “double-reverb” effect on that particular sample. If you don’t pay attention, the “tail” or “reverb” part of your sample might become too long and could interfere with other sounds in your track. To have the most control over your sound, it is best to add Reverb at the end of each production.

2. You can play with the dynamics

Dubstep music is not the easiest to reproduce. You will need to experiment with the dynamics of your instruments to make it more interesting Letsmix. This means that if you have a punchy bass line and are as energetic as Bugs bunny cracking, you will want synths or pads with a slower beat. You can play with pads and leads dynamics when your bass dynamic changes and becomes more slow. Since the human brain can only discern so many sounds, you don’t want to overload your music. Dubstep can be dirty but that doesn’t mean you have to rap the entire soundscape. You can simply compare the dynamics of each instrument within each track to determine when it should be made louder or more mellow.

3. You can play with octaves.

A great trick for Dubstep is to play the fourth or eighth note of a line, or a lead, one octave lower or higher depending on what you are trying to achieve. This creates a “freak sound” in the production, which gives it an extra special feeling. Dubstep is a different kind of music. You need to be able to relate to the unique sound signature to make Dubstep. You can experiment with the octaves in your Dubstep sequences to add some edge.
